CRAIG TARANTINO PT, MS
Craig Tarantino, PT, MS, founded Mobility Plus Physical Therapy in 2011, a Hanover-based company that provides outpatient physical therapy services to communities on the south shore of Boston.
Craig is a licensed physical therapist and has extensive experience working with patients of varied age groups including pediatric and geriatric patient populations. He has also worked in a host of clinical settings including Acute Care Hospital, Inpatient Rehabilitation, Home Care, Long Term Care, and Outpatient Private Practice.
In addition to Craig’s clinical experience, he has proven leadership experience as the Clinical Director of Rehabilitation Services at Cape Cod Hospital (2000 – 2006) and most recently as the Rehabilitation Director at Physical Therapy Health Services (2006-2011).
Through one-on-one patient evaluation and treatment, Craig takes an individual approach in diagnosing specific patient problems and impairments, while advocating for his patients in a results driven and goal-oriented style. Craig will use an evidence-based approach in designing individualized programs for return to work, daily activities, or competitive sports.
Patty Balascik MSPT
Patty Balascik, MSPT, joined our team in March 2013. Patty has 12 years of experience in outpatient physical therapy, with a focus on orthopedics. Patty graduated from Misericordia University with a BS in Health Sciences and an MS in Physical Therapy.
Patty has worked in many areas of the country in outpatient settings. Using an evidenced-based approach to physical therapy, Patty will help you achieve your therapy goals.
Patty will employ an effective approach utilizing therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and therapeutic modalities suited towards each individual patient needs. Patty also enjoys attending continuing education seminars to share the latest in physical therapy techniques and rationales with her patients.
When Patty is not at work she keeps active with her husband, two children, and dog Rusty.
Chris Joyce Physical Therapy Aide
Chris joined the team at Mobility Plus Physical Therapy in November 2013. Chris is a recent graduate from the University of Massachusetts Amherst where he majored in kinesiology and minored in psychology.
Chris aspires to become a physical therapist himself one day after attending a doctorate program for physical therapy in the near future.
Chris is an avid sports fan with his favorite sports being soccer and football. In his free time Chris enjoys being active and spending quality time with his family.
Rob Salter Physical Therapy Aide
Rob joined the Mobility Plus Team in January 2017 and is a graduate from the University of Rhode Island with a BS in Kinesiology. He plans to pursue a career in Physical Therapy and is applying to DPT Programs this fall. As an undergrad, he was inducted into the Phi Eta Sigma Honor Society. Rob is CSCS Certified (Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist) and plans to coach the upcoming Xaverian Brothers High School Rugby Team this spring. In his spare time Rob enjoys powerlifting, kayaking, fishing, and camping.
Krista McBride Social Media Marketing
Krista joined our team in August 2014. She is a graduate from Fitchburg State University where she obtained her Bachelors in Exercise and Sports Science.
She plans on continuing her education and starting a career in cardiac rehab. In her free time Krista likes to keep active, travel and enjoys cooking. Krista currently is responsible for Social Media Marketing including Facebook Administration and Blog Postings.
Lisa Brooks OFFICE COORDINATOR
Lisa has been with Mobility Plus Physical therapy since the first day we opened. She is primarily responsible for oversight of the front office operations including patient reception, scheduling, insurance verification, authorization, and billing.
Lisa holds an Associates Degree in Medical Assisting and has proven experience as a Medical Assistant for nine years in a pediatric medical practice, as well as being a home health aide for five years. Lisa enjoys walking and spending time with her family. Lisa lives in Pembroke with her husband and two children.
Sue Cratty ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT/MARKETING AND COMMUNITY OUTREACH
Sue joined the Mobility Plus team in February of 2017. In addition to providing coverage at the front desk, she will use her extensive knowledge of the services and resources offered throughout Hanover and surrounding towns to enhance the team’s opportunities for outreach and involvement in community events. Sue attended Providence College and received her MSW degree from Boston University in Community Outreach, Management and Planning. Sue lives in Hanover with her husband and three sons. Sue enjoys baking, reading and spending time with family and friends
