Our Team

Craig Tarantino, PT, MS, founded Mobility Plus Physical Therapy in 2011, a Hanover-based company that provides outpatient physical therapy services to communities on the South Shore. Craig is a licensed physical therapist and has extensive experience working with patients of varied age groups including pediatric and geriatric patient populations. He has also worked in a host of clinical settings including Acute Care Hospital, Inpatient Rehabilitation, Home Care, Long Term Care, and Outpatient Private Practice. In addition to Craig’s clinical experience, he has proven leadership experience as the Clinical Director of Rehabilitation Services at Cape Cod Hospital (2000 – 2006) and as the Rehabilitation Director at Physical Therapy Health Services (2006-2011). Through one-on-one patient evaluation and treatment, Craig takes an individual approach in diagnosing specific patient problems and impairments, while advocating for his patients in a results driven and goal-oriented style. Craig will use an evidence-based approach in designing individualized programs for return to work, daily activities, or competitive sports. Craig is married with four children and and is an avid New England Patriots Fan.

Patty Balascik, MSPT, joined our team in March 2013. Patty has 19 years of experience in outpatient physical therapy, with a focus on orthopedics. Patty graduated from Misericordia University with a BS in Health Sciences and an MS in Physical Therapy. Patty has worked in many areas of the country in outpatient settings. Using an evidenced-based approach to physical therapy, Patty will help you achieve your therapy goals. Patty will employ an effective approach utilizing therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and therapeutic modalities suited towards each individual patient needs. Patty also enjoys attending continuing education seminars to share the latest in physical therapy techniques and rationales with her patients. When Patty is not at work she keeps active with her husband, two children, and dog Mikey.

Dorothy is a 2024 Graduate from Trinity College with a BS in Neuroscience.  While at Trinity, Dorothy was a member of the Varsity Soccer Team.  Dorothy has proven leadership skills as a youth soccer coach as well as coaching prospective college soccer recruits.  Dorothy has a passion for helping others in the medical field.  She enjoys spending time with family and friends.

Christian is a 2024 graduate from the University of Michigan with a BS in Movement Science, minor in Entrepreneurship and an MS in Business.  Christian competed as a dual-sport athlete on both the Men’s Varsity Soccer and Track Teams.  Upon graduation, Christian gained invaluable skills including time management, self-discipline and strong interpersonal skills.  Christian lives by the motto, “Movement is Medicine.” Future goals reside in the entrepreneurial-healthcare space, aspiring to be a future owner himself.  You can find Christian working out in the gym or crafting new recipes in the kitchen, particularly italian cuisine.  In addition, Christian enjoys spending time with family and their Rottweiler Giovanni, hiking, and DIY home renovations.

Krista joined our team in August 2014. She is a graduate from Fitchburg State University where she obtained her Bachelors in Exercise and Sports Science. Krista is responsible for Social Media Marketing including Facebook and Instagram Administration as well as Website Blog Postings. She plans on continuing her education and starting a career in cardiac rehab. In her free time Krista likes to keep active, travel and enjoys cooking.

Sue joined the Mobility Plus team in February of 2017. Sue is responsible for all front office operations including billing. In addition to providing leadership at the front desk, she will use her extensive knowledge of the services and resources offered throughout Hanover and surrounding towns to enhance the team’s opportunities for outreach and involvement in community events. Sue attended Providence College and received her MSW degree from Boston University in Community Outreach, Management and Planning. Sue lives in Hanover with her husband and three sons. Sue enjoys baking, reading and spending time with family and friends

Danielle is a 2024 Merrimack College graduate with a BS in Communications and Media.  With extensive experience in client-facing roles and client relations, she has honed exceptional communication skills.  Danielle is pursuing her passion for health and fitness by studying to become a Certified Personal Trainer.  Outside of work, Danielle enjoys going to the gym, being by the beach and spending time with her family and friends.
